Literarily Jewish: Exploring Jewishness through Literature
Literature is a vast laboratory for experimenting with identity.
Modern Jewish literature provides remarkable examples of how Jewishness has
been bent and broken, rejected and recovered, by authors who assert their Jewish
identity even as they put it in question.
If literature is your interest and Jewishness your question, this short course
is sure to expose, challenge and delight.
3 weeks beginning Thursday August 11 2005,
8:00-9:30pm
2/26 Elwood Street Brighton Melbourne Australia.
Cost $30 / $15
