Two-day conference at Monash University’s Caulfield campus
Key note speakers include Dr Daniel Pipes, Itamar Marcus, Professor
Jack Jacobs, Dr Natan Kellerman, Professor Dina Porat, Dr Yitzhak Reiter
and Professor Stanley Waterman.
Over 40 individual presentations plus panel discussions on ‘Jews and the
Media’ and ‘Jews and the Left’.

Panelists include Pamela Bone, Jeremy Jones, Peter Holding, Professor Colin Tatz, Professor Suzanne Rutland, Professor Andrew Markus and Professor Sol Encel.

Conference themes:

  • the incidence and impact of antisemitism in contemporary western societies;
  • the language of antisemitism;

  • left-wing attitudes to Jews and Zionism;

  • radical Islamic antisemitism;

are Professor Andrew Markus, Director of the Australian Centre for the Study of Jewish Civilisation, Monash University and Dr Philip Mendes Senior Lecturer in Social Policy, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Monash University.
