Join our group of young, out-going, Jewish bush walkers for a hike along and
aqueduct to the Maroondah Reservoir with beautiful views of surrounding mountains
and 38 hectares of gardens.
It's a 2.5 hr circuit walk.
The walk is easy to medium with total climbing 210m and maximum height 245m.
Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, hat, good walking shoes and some lunch for
the end of the walk.
How to get there:
Follow Maroondah Highway east for 61km to Healesville.
Go through the town and turn left onto St Leonards Rd (signposted as Meyers
Creek Rd).
Follow this road for 1.3km and then turn left onto Donnellys Weir Road which
you follow for 1.8km past a ford and footbridge, go through the gate and a further
400m leads you to the picnic grounds
What to bring: Water, (there is none along the track), your lunch. Wear sunscreen, hat and good walking shoes
